Bramble Hedge Pre-school is based at St Mary’s Primary School, Grange Road, Riddlesden. We are independent from the school and are run by a committee of parents and other volunteers.

We provide sessional care for up to 20 children, from age 2 to 4 years. Your child does NOT need to be potty trained to attend.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. We are OFSTED registered and are inspected accordingly. Inspection reports are available to read at any time. We are aso a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance.

We are open during school term times, every morning from 9.15am to 12.15pm. We are also open all day on a wednesday from 9.15am to 2.30pm.

Children aged 3 years are funded for 15 hours from the start of the term following their 3rd birthday. This funding is provided through the government's Nursery Education Fund. For children age 2 years, the current price per morning session is £9 and for the afternoon session the current price is £7.50.

We are flexible as to what days you wish your children to attend, be it one or two days a week to start with, or the full 5 mornings a week. Any combination of days can be catered for, subject to availability of spaces.

Healthy snacks are provided at each session, along with milk and water and all dietary needs are taken into account.

  • provide a variety of activities for your children to choose in their own time
  • provide an atmosphere in which your child can develop their personal, intellectual, language, social and emotional skills
  • let your children have fun and be happy!
